I began by choosing coordinating Basis 80# card stocks that would be good for girl or boy birthdays. They included: Light Yellow, Olive, Golden Green, Aqua and Teal.
Also cut the scalloped ovals for the latter mats. I used double-sided cardstock, folded the paper in half and cut through 2 layers. This way I could mix up the patterned ovals as seen below.
Layer the flags with silk flowers, rhinestones and glitter glue. I used dimensional adhesive to give the letters some pop. You'll need drying time for the glitter on the flags and flowers.
Tie the corners together with ribbon.
