Floral Center Piece Tutorial by Norma

I was asked this year to decorate for our Valentine's Dinner and make some center pieces and decided to get creative using some of  our gorgeous Rose Quartz Stardream Metallic Paper.

The center pieces were super easy to make! Basically my husband went out into our back yard and cut down a bunch of branches :' ) . I than found at BIG LOTS some really nice yet inexpensive battery operated  branch lights to mix into the cut branch mix & added some moss. I wanted a pop of pink and that is where the Stardream Metallic Paper came into play.

I actually had this Sizzix die, so I did not have to go and buy it. I have used this one for many projects, including fabric ones and it sure has been nice to have!

It was super easy to cut the Rose Quartz metallic paper using the Sizzix Die and I was super glad that the shop is now carrying these Glue Dots. It really made layering the cuts super easy. But before you layer make sure you give the petal dimension by rolling the petal edges as I did on the above picture.

The results are so pretty and you can even add glitter to the center. I than just hot glued it to the out door branches that my husband Damien cut. I even made extra flowers to toss on the table and it really gave the room a nice pop of color. Matter of fact we plan on re-using these center pieces for Mother's Day this year.
