"Thank You" with a little Gourmet Flavour

Cutcardstock carries a line of cardstock called Flavours Gourmet. It is an exquisite collection of papers so delectable you'll want a taste.  Premium vibrant-colored, uncoated papers inspired by the tastes of fine foods and delicacies.

I really enjoyed creating this "Thank You" card using a selection of the Flavour Gourmet cardstock. I feel sometimes it is really difficult to create a more masculine or non-gender card. However with these warm tone colors it was super easy.

To create this card I used:
Base Cardstock: A7 Brown Bag Kraft
Cardstock Strips and Circle Scallops: Flavour Gourmet Cardstock
Many Thanks Sticker: SRM Stickers
Scalloped Punches: Marvy Uchida
Glue: Glue Dots Adhesive Roller
3D Foam Tabs: Tombo Foam Tabs
Distress Ink: Ranger Ink

And lets not for get a Sewing Machine for the stitching. However if you do not have a sewing machine a pen/marker like these pictured below can be found at Cut Card Stock & can be used to draw on the stitches.

To create the card:
1.) Create a template for the paper strips. I took a piece of printer paper and cut it down to a flat 5x7. I than just started to cut the strips angling the cuts tword the center and keeping it wider to words the square edge. Using the template than cut out your Flavour Gourmet strips.
2.) Glue the cardstock to your Kraft 5x7 base using Glue Dots.
3.) I than stitched the pieces on but remember you can glue your strips down and simply draw your stitches onto the cardstock.
4.) I than punched the scallops out and distressted them a bit by roughing up the edges and using the Rangers Ink just around the edges.
4.) Layer the scallops with the Tombo 3D Foam Dots.
5.) Adhere the layered scallops to the card using the Glue Dots Roller.
6.) Distress the edge of the card with your nail than use the Rangers Ink around the edge of the entire card.
7.) Add your SRM sticker to the center of the scallop.

Hope you enjoyed this card & tutorial!
