Making Shaped Cards Using CutCardStock!

Hey there CCS friends,
It's Pinky today and I wanted to share how to make shaped
cards using your Silhouette, Cricut, or any machine really!
I created this card using 100% CutCardStock card stock and
it's not as hard as you might think. Magazine quality cards
right in your craft room- wow those friends!

If you are using a Cricut, you just find your file and cut TWO
of the SHADOW shapes, then the original shape. Make sure
they are the same size. For the silhouette just copy the background
shape and be sure to cut 2.

I used Pop-Tones Spearmint Cardstock for the backgrounds,
Astorbrights Pulsar Pink Cardstock for the image itself.
Set aside second "shadow" shape. Adhere cut image to front of first shadow.
Embellish card as desired.
Lay BOTH shadow cuts onto scoring board- find a straight line across
top of shadow cut. I use the front of the card as a starting point
to make sure when my card stands that it will stand evenly.
Score the back of card shadow cut.
Adhere the scored panel above score line.
Lay front of card onto scored card and press firmly to adhere fully.
Open card! There you have a fully functional unique shaped card and
you can do this with ENDLESS designs! Any die cut machine you can apply
these principles too.
I think you will be happy to use this technique and
I hope you share with your friends.
