Hello, scrappy land this is my first post designing for CutCardStock and I can honestly say I am in blissful cardstock heaven! CutCardStock provides such quality products that it makes crafting simple and fun, like it should be. For my first project I created this simple card using two colors from the Curious Metallic Pack: Botanic Green and Cryogen White. The sparkle on this metallic cardstock is mesmerizing, I could stare at it all day with a grin...it's that pretty!

I first started with Metallic Botanic Green and used my trusty electronic cutting system to cut out this darling scalloped 4 1/2" rectangle with corner slits. The scallop cut beautifully because of the quality of the cardstock.
My second step I used the Metallic Cryogen White paper and used my scoring board to score a spine for my card fold.
I have my paper layers ready to assemble after folding my Metallic Cryogen White for the base of my card.
For my fourth step, I layered some coordinating patterned paper on top of the metallic green scallop and then pop dotted (to give dimension) the green scallop on to the Metallic Cryogen White.

Finally it's all about the embellishments, I used a small piece of CutCardStock, card stock basic white for the scalloped sentiment card. There you have it, a fun and simple card that easy to make with quality products.

  1. Love your bright, springy card, Laura! That large scallop frame in green metallic is the bomb!

  2. Cute, I love those notches in the corners... Those are time savers vs. mounting.
