Spring is finally into full swing, at least here in the midwest. It is such a wonderful season; I love watching everything come alive again!
Today I am sharing a sweet little box with you; it would make a great treat box for Easter or would also be perfect to hold a little gift or trinket.
To make this box-
1. I made my box out of Curious Metallic Cryogen White cardstock and used my We R MemoryKeepers Gift Box Punch Board to cut and score.
You could use a template and hand cut your shape, or if you have an electronic cutting machine, you could use that to cut your template. Assemble your box.
2. Cut a shape for your sentiment and to back your embellishments. I cut a scalloped circle out of the Curious Metallic Lime cardstock.
3. Now you can embellish. I added designer paper to the sides of the box. Then I cut some grass using Curious Metallic Botanic cardstock. I used a die, but fringe scissors or hand cutting would work as well. Notice the gorgeous glimmer of the Curious Metallic cardstock!
5. I stamped my sentiment and adhered the circle to the box. Next, I added one layer of grass to the box, and then using 3D foam adhesive, I added the second layer of grass. My bunny was tucked in between the layers of grass and then finished it off with a handmade flower, stamped and die cut out, using Curious Metallic Cryogen White cardstock.
6. To add even more sparkle to the flowers, I 'colored' then with the Zig Wink of Stella marker. I had heard so much about this marker; it really stands up to its reputation; it lays down such amazing sparkle! Finally, add some pearls and tie it all up in a bow!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
