Snowflake Sparkle & Shine Tag

Happy Wednesday! Amber here with you today, and I'm continuing with the snowflake theme we have worked into our projects this month. If you ask me, snowflakes are a great match with Stardream Metallic cardstock that is on sale this month. I wanted to continue with the theme, but make something that would work for an occasion other than the holidays this winter. Surely you know someone with a winter birthday... this would be perfect!
I cut a tag sized rectangle from Quartz Stardream Metallic, it's sized at 3" x 4". After wiping the surface with my powder tool, I stamped a few snowflakes with Versamark ink so I could heat emboss.
I love the gold and silver metallics that are so trending right now. The shimmer in the cardstock is a great match up with the platinum embossing powder.
I wanted to add a sentiment overlay, so I stamped and embossed it on a cut strip of vellum. This Glama Natural vellum cardstock is heavy duty; it's not flimsy at all and takes the heat embossing so well!
I glued down the vellum strip on the back of my card and then decided where I wanted to attach my sequins for that extra sparkle and shine.
I made my own little hole reinforcer by punching a small circle from Antique Gold Stardream Metallic cardstock.
I added a bit of sheer white ribbon and some gold cording from my stash to finish it off.
