Kraft and Embossed Gold Fall Goodie Bag

I'm starting the feel a little crispness in the air, and that makes me so happy! I love everything Fall and I love that I'm still seeing the gold foil on Kraft cardstock trend still going strong. I think it's a beautiful combination for Fall cards and gift giving. I wanted to show you how easy it is to make your own on trend cardstock....

I started with Brown Bag Kraft cardstock and decided to add my own gold by heat embossing some polka dots with gold embossing powder. It was really easy and to save some time, I just did the parts of the cardstock that I would be cutting out with my goodie bag die.

I assembled the little bag. The weight of the cardstock is light enough that it's really easy to work with, yet sturdy enough to hold a little gift or trinket of some sort when I'm ready to give this little treat to someone special!

I decided to make a tag to really scream Fall. So I continued with my gold embossing powder and made a leaf. The gold on Basis Dark Orange cardstock feels so warm and cozy!

I used die cuts to create a faux stitched circle (from Basis Brown cardstock), a little hanging opening on the tag and also cut out the leaf that I embossed.

I adhered the leaf on the tag and tied it to my goodie bag with a bit of rustic twine.

Can you just see this little gem stuffed with something pumpkin-spice flavored, or a coffee shop gift card?
