DIY Planner Tags Perfect for School Agendas and Planners!

Hello!  It is Lisa Lahiff here with you today and I have a fun little DIY project to share with all of you.  When school starts up I know everyone's planner books/ school agendas can become filled to the brim with important information, so I thought it would be fun to make my own Tags to help highlight specific events or important information.  With Esse card stock, Gansai Tambi Watercolors, stamps, Double Sided Adhesive and a few Paper Clips these Tags come together in a jiffy...

Step 1: Start by layering watercoloring down onto a sheet of Esse card stock.  While this card stock is not specifically intended for watercoloring I found the 100# weight of it and nice texture was perfect for my basic project.  Make sure you let each color dry before adding a new color or your colors will simply blend. You will end up creating 6 of these little strips of watercoloring, 2 in each of the same colors.

Step 2: Next you will die cut your tags out and get out your chosen paper clips.

Step 3: In this step you will stamp and/or emboss your sentiments onto 3 of the die cut tags.  I chose to use inspirational/motivational sayings for mine as sometimes they are just nice to see. :)

Step 4: Using double sided adhesive on each of the tags backs holds the paperclips perfectly in between them.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
Lisa
