Disney Mini-Album

Hi Friends!! kel here today :) I can't believe it's the end of the month!! Where has the time gone? I know my time has gone to the end of the semester and finals... but luckily I still manage to carve out some crafty time for myself once in a while too!!

I just found out that my niece is going to visit her sister in Florida next week!! My Florida niece is working at Disney World, and she gets to hang out in character all the time!! What fun for her!! So my project to share today are these matching mini-accordion albums perfect for holding a handful of Instax pictures!

This beautiful glitter paper and glitter cardstock were actually my inspiration for this project. I've been hoarding this Disney-inspired paper since it came out, and now that it's been reimagined and done a 3rd time, I figured it was time to do something with it!! haha!!

The first thing I did was cut down some scrap 12" x 12" paper into 5" x 12" strips, and then fold them into thirds. I also cut down some Black Glitter Paper and Gold Glitter Cardstock into 3.25" x 4.25" mats, perfect for these pocket cards.

I overlapped one panel of the white strips, and then glued them together. This made a nice mini-album of 5 panels on each side.

I cut down some 12" x 12" paper into 4" x 5" pieces and then glued them down to all the panels.

On the very back panel, I used some sticky to center my ribbon. It's okay that the sticky is bigger than the ribbon, because I knew I was going to cover it up with a pocket card, which I matted with one of the Black Glitter Paper pieces.

The last thing I did before tying up the album was to add the front pocket card (mounted on the Gold Glitter Cardstock piece) and then add some more pocket cards to every-other panel. Here's the front side of the album:

And the back side of the album:

And what it looks like all tied up! I made sure to leave the ribbon extra long because I know the album will get thicker as they glue in their pictures.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I absolutely love how the glitter paper I used just added that little extra pop to these albums!! Make sure to stay up to date with the latest news and sales on the CutCardstock Facebook Page!!

lovies, =o) kel
