So if you've been checking the blog this month, you probably already know that Stardream Metallics are on special.  But do you know how shimmery pretty they are?  Perfect perfect PERFECT for some Christmas crafting.
While I can't seem to manage a shimmer showing photo, this one of the rose quartz from the CutCardStock website will give you an idea of how these papers seem to glow.

Trace and cut out the circle--this is Aquamarine, but the Lagoon is even better!

Canning jar bands are readily available in many stores.  If you don't already have some, I suggest asking someone you know who cans or makes jelly/jams if they have old ones they'd like to donate to your crafting cause.  Old ones have a fun patina, and if you're lucky, a bit of rust.

Fussy cut a collage image, and adhere to the circle.

I highly recommend Royal Sundance felt cardstock in Brilliant White for printing computer images.

Adhere the paper circle to the inside of the band, and add a loop for hanging.

I added some silvery tinsel trim to these, but lace and ribbon and ric-rac are pretty choices, too.  Mini Glue Dots are great for this step.

Great for any Christmas project, girlfriend needed some Wink of Stella on her wings!
